La Sorrentina

When we fancy Italian food, La Sorrentina is the only place we go! I’ve known this restaurant for 11 years, and despite trying many Italian restaurants across Berkshire over the years, none of them comes close. And trust me, as a true Italian food lover, I know what I’m talking about! 🇮🇹❤️ Adriano and Ella have created a place that keeps us coming back year after year. One of my absolute favourites is their calamari, but what I particularly love is a little detail that I rarely find in other Italian restaurants: freshly chopped garlic in olive oil! It might sound like a small thing, but for someone who loves authentic Italian flavours, it makes all the difference. La Sorrentina has recently undergone a kitchen renovation, and the new menu brings an exciting change, with dishes freshly prepared to order. It’s lovely to see the restaurant evolving while keeping the qualities that have made it our favourite for so many years. For us, it’s not just about the food. It’s about the people, the atmosphere and the consistency that make this place special. After 11 years, we still choose La Sorrentina over all the other Italian restaurants we’ve tried in Berkshire — and that says it all! A fantastic Italian restaurant with a lovely ambience, excellent food, and impeccable service. Every detail made the experience enjoyable, and the quality of the dishes really stood out. Highly recommended for a memorable meal.

I hosted some fellow American buddies at Sunningdale GC and ate here on three of our nights in the area. The food was spectacular and the staff were equally wonderful. We'll be back again in 2026!!

Lovely little Italian restaurant, we have the cheesey garlic bread, with the lasagna and carbonara, and all were delicious, with friendly wait staff too.

We always come to La Sorrentina every year to celebrate a special occasion, and every single time it exceeds our expectations. The food is consistently outstanding, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service is impeccable — you can really feel that it’s a family-run restaurant where customers genuinely matter. It’s become a tradition for us for a reason. Highly recommended and never disappoints.

Great experience! The pasta was super fresh and full of flavor, my friend's seabass was perfectly cooked-light, tender, and really tasty. The atmosphere was warm, the staff were kind, and just everything felt so easy and enjoyable. I'd gladly return. Special thanks to Emanuella for making us feel at home throughout the dinner.
